Archeological Monitoring of Burt House Drainage Trenches at Fort Laramie National Historic Site

The construction of a new drainage system at the Burt House required the presence of an archeologist to monitor the trenching activities. Two drainage trenches and an electrical line trench were excavated during the monitoring efforts. Scattered trash and other cultural debris was observed in the trench fill.
