摘要

The thesis describes studies on the primary structure of crustacean hemocyanins, the main study object being the c subunit of hemocyanin from the spiny lobster, Panulirus interruptus. In order to facilitate reading the thesis, a short introduction into the origin of arthropods and into gas exchange and oxygen transport in crustaceans is given. A short summary of current knowledge of arthropodan hemocyanins serves as a background for the research described.
