摘要

The Office of Public Archaeology (OPA) at Brigham Young University carried out an intensive survey of the proposed Forest Highway 5 upgrade between Woodland and Hanna, Utah. A total of twelve new archaeological sites, five previously recorded sites, one National Register property, and ten isolated artifacts were located during the survey. In addition, sixty-six aspen bark carvings were recorded, and numerous recreational campsites and other features were noted. Six of the sites were tested with one by one meter test pits. In addition to the existing National Register site, six sites were determined to be significant and potentially eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places.
