The report presents current and historical information developed from regularly recurring National Science Foundation surveys. Following an overview of the findings, the report contains separate sections on personnel, education, and funding in the field of chemical engineering. The material in the sections consists of graphical or tabular presentations with accompanying interpretation. Technical notes and detailed statistical tables are presented in the appendixes.
