Program Enhancement and Maintenance of the Microbiological Information System

摘要

The report describes support provided by ORI during the contract's period of performance for several projects. Support was provided for the maintenance and enhancement of the MICRO-IS System which is running on the IBM and DEC computer systems located at the NIH DCRT computer center in Bethesda, MD. A version of the System was developed for use on DOS-based IBM compatible microcomputers for use by microbiologists in the field and laboratory. ORI staff provided support to the MSDN as a member of the technical committee. Several consultants were employed to provide support for several smaller projects. These included support for the FDA's Antibody Resistant Bacteria Analysis, The Peabody Preschool Screening Project and Surveillance of the Flow of Salmonella and Campylobacter in a Community Projects.
