Improved Prenatal Care Utilization and Birth Outcome Project

The project surveyed 3000 postpartum Massachusetts women in order to identifybarriers to, components of, and levels of participation in prenatal care, and to collect data on the social context of women's lives during pregnancy. Various interventions with high risk women at four demonstration sites were evaluated and compared.
