Pesticide Exposure and Pregnancy Outcome

摘要

The project studied the impact that pesticide exposure during pregnancy may haveon specific adverse reproductive outcomes such as low birthweight, spontaneous abortion, preterm labor, and toxemia of pregnancy. The study followed a cohort of pregnant women exposed to pesticides before or during their pregnancy, and recorded the postnatal condition of the women and their infants.
