VA and Non-VA Patient Profiles: Males Ages 25 and Over

The report profiles patients using VA inpatient and outpatient medical careservices and compares patient characteristics with those of non-VA facilities. Factors such as length of stay, diagnostic related groupings, admission and discharge, use of long term care facilities are explored. Demographic, health status, and socioeconomic characteristics of the VA patient population are contrasted with those of non-VA patient populations.
