Volume 2 contains Chapter 5, Consultation and Coordination, and Chapter 6, Comments and Responses to Comments. Throughout the course of preparing this Final Wilderness Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) formaland informal efforts have been made to involve the public, other federal agencies, state and local government agencies, special interest groups, and numerous individuals. Public input, which is required by law, has been sought at various stages of the process. Comments on the two Draft EISs were requested from various Federal, State and local agencies and organizations and have been taken into consideration in the writing of the FEIS.
