Method 1613 is a high resolution capillary column gas chromatography (HRGC)/high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) method for analysis of tetra- through octa- chlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans using isotope dilution. Specificity is provided for determination of the seventeen 2,3,7,8-substituted polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDF).
