Toward Strengthening Nutrition Services in Region 9 for Children with Special Health Needs

The project goals were to improve the ability of the states in Region IX to collect and use data for the purposes of program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nutrition services; to improve their ability to assess and monitor the nutritional status of the target populations; to expand region-wide systems to support the delivery of nutrition services to children with special health needs; and to expand the development of nutrition services for CSHN within California to include the entire state of California.
