State-of-the-Art Assessment of the Electrochemical Machining Process: FinalReport

摘要

The state-of-the-art assessment of the electrochemical machining (ECM) processinvolved gathering and critically analyzing a large volume of data from the technical literature, on-site visits, and personal conversations with knowledgeable individuals in the field. This was done to develop a complete picture of the current technology and future directions of ECM and its related processes of electrochemical deburring (ECD) and electrochemical grinding (ECG) on a worldwide basis. The review encompassed a broad range of topics such as ECM process mechanisms, equipment, tool design, control, process capabilities, electrolyte selection and handling, and applications and techniques.
