摘要

A literature review has been carried out in order to outline the fate ofchlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans in the (natural) soil-water-plant system. Processes involved are adsorption, convection, diffusion, volatilization, non-homogeneous transport, chemical processes, microbial biodegradation and plant uptake. The studied compounds appear to be almost immobile due to the strong adsorption to soil organic matter and the low water solubility. In the soil the dioxins and furans are chemical inert, but in presence of ultraviolet light they decompose phtochemically. There are strong uncertainties on the uptake by plants and on biodegradation. The overall half-lifes vary dependent on the occurance of photodecomposition and range from half a year to more than ten years.
