Synthesis and Reactivity of Cyclometalated Ni(II), Pd(II) and Pt(II) Complexes

摘要

The thesis describes the synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of the d8 complexes of divalent nickel, palladium, and platinum containing chelating ligands with hard carbon and nitrogen donor atoms. These ligands enhance the nucleophilic character of the central metal atom and its reactivity toward electrophiles. The mechanism of oxidative addition reactions of dihalogens with the corresponding platinum(II) complexes has been investigated.
