Coalbed Methane Technology Development in the Appalachian Basin. Topical Report,July 1989-October 1990

摘要

The primary objective of the field-based research is to determine theapplicability of the current coalbed methane technology to the production of gas from the Appalachian Basin coal resource. Related objectives are to: (1) provide techniques to characterize and hydraulically stimulate this resource; (2) predict and measure gas production and correlate with assumed production mechanisms; (3) disseminate information learned to interested parties; and (4) recommend further research to optimize production from this resource.
