Promoting International Strategic Alliances of Small and Medium Sized Companies. Two Experimental Joint Projects between Finland and the USA.

The purpose of the report is to give new understanding of the promoting of international strategic alliances of small and medium sized companies. In the beginning of the report there is a short introduction to international strategic alliances of small and medium sized companies. Two experimental joint projects between Finland and the USA are then described. The aim of these projects is to promote international strategic alliances between Finnish companies and US companies. In the report two case examples of the promoting of international strategic alliances of small and medium sized companies are also discussed. These case examples have emerged from the INPACT project which is the first of the two experimental joint projects between Finland and the USA described in the report. Recommendations for further measures for the promoting of international strategic alliances of small and medium sized companies are presented at the end of the report.
