Effects of Impurities on the Mechanical Behaviour of Primary and Secondary Cast Aluminium Alloys.

摘要

The effects of impurities on the mechanical behavior of aluminium-silicon(7%) and aluminium-copper(4%) cast alloys have been studied. A comparisonal viewpoint between primary and secondary materials was adopted because of the different production methods of these materials. The aim was, accordingly, to determine the usability of secondary casting ingots as raw materials for aluminium castings.
