Emergency Flow Restricting Devices Study (A Study Mandated by P.L. 100-561)

The purpose of this report is to fulfill the requirements in Section 305 of thePipeline Safety Reauthorization Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-561) (the Act) that a study be conducted to determine whether operators should install emergency flow restricting devices in existing and future pipeline systems in varying circumstances and locations. This report also includes proposals for other future action.
