The document provides basic specifications for the use of magnetic media tosubmit EPA Form R reports required by section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986), Public Law 99-499. The use of magnetic media can be a convenient and timesaving way to submit required information. The specifications and requirements presented in the document supplement the reporting requirements presented in the section 313 final rule (40 CFR Part 372). Submission of magnetic media reports does not relieve the submitter from any of the regulatory requirements of the section 313 final rule.
