Estimation and Control of the Single-Sludge Wastewater Treatment Processes. Part1

The report is based on the work made in Helsinki University of Technology during1990-91, and the work has been financed mainly by the Finnish Academy. The report scopes on modelling, estimation and control problems of the single-sludge oxidation, nitrification and denitrification processes. The experimental results of the work will be published in part II. The authors have divided the work the following way: (1) modelling and experimental study; (2) stochastic analysis, estimation and control of the processes.
