Water Quality Study at the Congaree Swamp National Monument of Myers Creek,Reeves Creek and Toms Creek

The Congaree Swamp National Monument is one of the last significant near virgintracts of bottom land hardwood forests in the Southeast United States. The study documents a water quality monitoring program on Myers Creek, Reeves Creek and Toms Creek. Basic water quality parameters were analyzed. High levels of aluminum and iron were found, and recommendations were made for further monitoring.
