The Guide is intended to facilitate planning and implementation of the DrugEvaluation and Classification Classroom Training Program. The Guide overviews the 7-day course of instruction, and the documents and other materials that make up the curriculum package for the course. It describes course administrative requirements and offers guidelines for discharging those requirements satisfactorily. It outlines the preparatory work that must be accomplished by a law enforcement agency before the course can be offered to that agency's personnel. And, it outlines the follow-up work that should be undertaken to ensure that the highest possible quality of instruction continues to be delivered, during all phases of a Drug Recognition Technician's training.
