Clans and Chiefs: A New Kernel Level Concept for Operating Systems

Clans are introduced as a basic concept at the kernel level of operating systems,allowing user definable control of process interaction. Potential applications of Clans and Chiefs lie in the fields of protection, remote communication, debugging, event tracing, emulating system environments and even process migration.
