摘要

The purpose of this study was to assist Minerals Management Service (MMS) planners in evaluation of the anticipated social impact of proposed oil and gas development on the environment. MMS 91-0045 estimates the potential impact of man-made facilities upon outdoor recreation experiences and patterns. MMS 91-0046 consists of an inventory profile of tourism on the coast of Washington and Oregon. The inventory is divided into two general categories: (1) the capacity of existing tourist facilities, and (2) the 'demand' for tourist activities. MMS 91-0047 analyzes the econometric models of the Dornbusch study.
