Nitrate Leaching from Non-Grazed Grassland on a Sandy Soil: Experimental Data forTesting of Simulation Models

Within the EC-project 'Nitrate in soils', research groups in six differentcountries carried out studies on nitrogen transport and transformation processes in soil and groundwater. One of the main purposes of the project was the evaluation of available nitrogen simulation models, using experimental data of field studies, mainly focussed on nitrate leaching. One of the datasets used is presented in the report and consists of data from a field study of a non-grazed grassland system with application of both cattle slurry and mineral fertilizer. The dataset comprises time independent background data as well as time series of data on physical parameters and nitrogen fluxes. (Copyright (c) 1991 SC-DLO.)
