According to the authors contacts in the field, allegations of financial abuseare among the most difficult for adult protective service and elder abuse workers to investigate and substantiate. In response to the need for increased technical assistance in the arena, the National Aging Resource Center on Elder Abuse (NARCEA) convened a national teleconference on Financial Abuse on February 15, 1991. The document contains highlights of the content of the meeting.
