The University of Minnesota Long-Term Care DECISIONS Resource Center's effortsfocus particularly on assessment, case management, links between acute care and long-term care, preferences of older people, and ethics in long-term care. The emphasis on DECISIONS in its name reflects the Center's overall mission of improving the decisions made by older persons needing long-term care, their family members, and the professionals who provide or plan services.
