Theoretical Antenna Patterns for Sea Echo at San Clemente Island.

摘要

Theoretical product array gains were calculated and plotted for a nonuniformly spaced array of twenty-five side-terminated vertical half-rhombics. The HF radar array,located at the NRL/ITS/NOAA San Clemente Island,is being used as both a ground-wave and sky-wave Doppler radar for sea scatter measurements. The antenna operates at a frequency range of 2-30MHz and is capable of beam steering over a 40degree sector in steps the size of the resolution cell 2deg for a total of 20beam positions. (Author)
