Internally Finned Honeycomb Radiators

摘要

Problem of reducing radiator size by placing fins inside of tubes is discussed. Calculations of radiator performance are compared with that of conventional radiator. Results show that internally finned radiators can dissipate the same heat as conventional radiators with same frontal area, but require 55% less volume and 18% less power expended. If radiators have same volume, the new designed requires 20% less pressure drop.
