Diverless maintenance in deep water

摘要

The topic of diverless maintenance addresses subsea production facilities in this paper. The major factors that determine diverless maintainability are development economics, maintenance philosophy, subsea hardware design, subsea intervention hardware, and compatibility of subsea hardware and remote work capabilities. This paper addresses the issues that need to be considered and provides one set of solutions. The challenge is to establish a process that defines the requirement, identifies the resources/capabilities, and executes the work. 3 refs., 10 figs.
