Calculation of Equilibrium Concentrations and Chemical Times in a Nitrogen Plasma . Calcul des Concentrations a Lequilibre et Temps Chimiques Dans UN Plasma Dazote

Composition of a mixture in a nitrogen plasma jet was calculated for different temperatures and pressures. The results were applied to the determination of the chemical times for two kinetic models. Other data were obtained for the composition and the relaxation times in the presence of irreversible phenomena, such as radiative recombination and temperature relaxation. The values of chemical times obtained show that the plasma jet is not at equilibrium. (Author)
