A COMPARISON OF METHODS AVAILABLE FOR THE ESTIMATION OF ENTHALPIES OF FORMAT60W FOR DOUBLE OX8DE SYSTEMS

A recent program of work at NPL has been concerned with the compilation and storage of thermodynamic data for inorganic compounds of metallurgical interest. The immediate aim is to construct a bank of data suitable for computer calculation of equilibrium constants and Gibbs energy changes or changes in enthalpy for defined chemical reactions which may occur at high temperature. For many of the compounds concerned values for the required data do not exist and reliable estimation procedures are required.
