A Delta Coded Frequency Modulated Rural Subscriber s’ Radio System

摘要

This report outlines the development and testing of a single-channel subscriber’s radio system using frequency modulation with the facility of operating in either an analogue transmission mode or a binary digital mode employing delta-coding of the speech waveform. The more unusual aspects of the design for digital operation are described and measured results of the comparative performance parameters of digital and analogue working are presented.
