摘要

A thin film metallic primer for direct ignition of secondary explosives is presented. The geometry of the primer in cases with and without a primary explosive is discussed leading to a reinforcement of the strength of the confining region. The detonation physics is outlined with regard to the correlation between electrical parameters and the minimal energy requirements for detonation onset. The properties of vacuum deposited metallic thin film are detailed with regard to aging. Stabilization processes are sought which would lead to the elimination of Ag and recommendation of prenucleation with Cr or Pt.
