This report describes some interesting aspects of the work undenaxen at the Weapons Research Establishment in 1972/73. Security classifications which normally apply to much defense research and development work unfortunately preclude discussion of a full range of the Establish¬ment's activities, but a general appreciation of its wide scope will be evident from Appendix III which lists the subject matter of previous reports in the six year period mid 1966/mid 1972.nThe headquarters of the Weapons Research Establishment (W.R.E.) is located at Salisbury, about 24 kilometers north of Adelaide in South Australia.
