Second Quarterly Report for Infrared Interferometer Spectrometer and Radiometer (IRIS) for the MJS'77 Spacecraft

This report documents the progress made during the period 12 July to 12 October 1974 in developing the MJS'77 IRIS subsystem design and in overall program activities.nThe continuing efforts in the program cover designs in both opto-mechanics and electronics. Piece part fabrication has progressed on the Michelson motor. Vendor selection is complete for the telescope procurement. Fifty percent of the electronic designs are committed to PCB layout. Radiation testing at GSFC was performed.
