This report represents a reasonably thorough documentation of the entire force-sharing program. For the reader who is not interested in all the:gory details of how the final force-sharing configuration evolved, it is probably sufficient to first read through Section 4. Then, recog¬nizing that the final configuration employs the mid-value equalization (MVE) concept, proceed directly to Section 7 and 8 for the final results. Refer to Subsection 5. 1 for symbols and definitions, as needed, and to 5. 3 for the scaled system parameters used on the simulator.
