The basic principle of pre-correction for improving amplifier linearity is discussed with some theory and the idea of pre-correction using an error signal injection system is introduced.nA description is given of a practical form of pre-corrector which was used successfully to double the output power of a transistor amplifier for a UHF television combined sound and vision signal
