In addition to the balance force data, pressures were measured. Pressure edifices were located at the nose of the Orbiter, on either side of the vertical bade strut, and at the mid-root chord on either side of the vertical tail. Strain goes were installed on the Basing 747 vertical tail to in dictate buffet inset.
