The theory of linearised supersonic flows with two sets of boundary conditions, specified on co-axial mean cylinders, is developed using operational calculus.nThe boundary conditions may be either those for tangency at a solid surface (radial velocity component specified) or those appropriate at a jet surface (longitudinal perturbation velocity specified), so that four distinct problems exist. The general non-axisymmetric cases are considered.nFunctions are defined for finding pressure coefficients on the solid boundaries and the shapes of the jet boundaries and the properties of these functions are studied.
