The model presented here does not yet embrace a complete span of planetary mission concepts. In particular, modeling of atmosphere probe hardware is based on tenuous data. A consistent methodology for estimating sample return and penetrator mission costs is not included, and a broader data base is desired to cnhance the modeling of the labor estimating relationships.Work is currently in progress to improve the model in these and other respects.
