An Experimental System for Systems Laboratory Simulation of Equatorial Electrojet Instabilities

An experimental system which simulates the essential characteristics of the equatorial electrojet plasma is described. A description of the components of the system is given. Preliminary results of equilibrium and instability characteristics, the latter obtained by digitally implemented statistical signal analysis techniques are included. (Author)
