摘要

The longitudinal aerodynamic characteristics of a six-fan, tip-driven (remote) lift-fan VTOL transport through transition were determined by an investigation conducted in the Langley V/STOL tunnel. Tests were also made with the large midspan lift-fan pods and lift-cruise fans removed to determine their influence on the stability and control of the configuration. Data were obtained for a range of model height above ground. The data are presented without analysis or discussion.
