Pre-Ignition Plasma Studies of Small High-Field Ohmically Heated Tokamaks

Studies have been made of the feasibility of attaining thermonuclear ignition in a small high-density high-magnetic field tokamak reactor. Both the 1-D reactor code MAK1 and a simple point model were used to determine the viable regions in parameter space, scaling, and parametric sensitivities of such a reactor. (ERA citation 04:007087)
