Complex Modified Korteweg--DeVries Equation, a Non-Integrable Evolution Equation

The two-dimensional steady-state propagation of electrostatic waves is governed by delta v/delta tau + delta exp 3 v/delta xi exp 3 + delta((absolute value of v) exp 2 v)/delta xi = 0, the Complex Modified Korteweg-DeVries equation.
