CONFIGURATION DESIGN STUDY OF AN OPTICAL SCANNING MECHANISM ASSEMBLY

In this report a feasibility study for an Optical Scanning Mechanism Assembly (OSMA) is presented. The object of the study was to define the most promising OSMA design after studying two favoured configurations resulting from a preli minary trade-off among several other.nThe identification of components which need development work and areas of technological difficulty are also part of the study.
