Hybrid analog computer techniques:their use in designing and assessing the performance of Nonlinear transmitters under multicarrier operation

Hybrid-analog computer techniques for designing and assessing the improved multicarrier performance of linearized transmitters using control loops are presented. A computer set-up for simulation of nonlinear dynamic control loops and multicarrier signal generation is given in detail.nA design for the Marecs L-band power amplifier and its assessment are shown as an example of the accuracy of simulation achievable. Problem areas are discussed.
