摘要

The goal of the present study was to define a control system which may be able to regulate the temperature gradient of a mechanical structure which is supposed to be coupled by radiation to an environment capable to induce non-homogeneous and variable heat loads along this structure. Some of the applications are:nOptical benches, precisely calibrated on the ground at a well-defined temperature, which has to be maintained during the whole operational phase.nTemperature gradient control of large structures, like space telescopes, reflectors, etc., in order to avoid thermal bending or material stress.nIn the case of an infrared telescope, a non-homogeneous temperature distribution acts directly as a disturbance signal.
