Vibration Isolation of European Communications Satellite (Ecs) Solar Wing

Dynamic responses of the European Communications Satellite solar wing, due to base excitation, are reduced using the technique of vibration isolation. The resonant frequency of the vibration isolator was set to 3.1 Hz. Above 5 Hz the amplification factors were less than 2.0 in a frequency range to 120 Hz.
