Formation of Organosilicon Compounds. 58: Synthesis of a Carbosilane with Propellane Structure

摘要

The organometallic synthesis of carbosilanes is reported. The synthesis of a carbosilance with propellane structure based on the coupling of four SiBr groups with CC14 ab by lithium is described. The most favorable conditions for the coupling reaction with CC14 are discussed along with the properties of the resulting compound.
